Bulgaria is the most popular place for outsourcing in Europe

Based on 2014 research Bulgaria is the most popular place for outsourcing in Europe. It is the only European country in the world top 10 for most attractive destinations announced by A.T.Kearney on research among 51 countries. Bulgaria is 9th in the renowned index climbing 8 places up compared to 2011.

It is the second time Bulgaria enters the world top 10 of outsourcing destinations within a 7-year period. “Bulgaria is among the leaders in this prestigious index which is huge acknowledgment for our efforts in the business, its maturity and potential for growth” –Stefan Burmov says, the chairman of the Bulgarian Outsourcing Association.

India, China and Malaysia are again the leaders in the top 10 as Asia is still dominating with 6 countries. Central Europe developed a mature industry with many experienced players offering 50% more expensive service compared to West Europe. This advantage is much stronger for Southeast Europe.

Kearney performs the research based on 39 indicators in 3 categories: financial status, business environment, human resources availability and skills. The index is an important benchmark for choosing a location for outsourcing on the world market especially when many back office centers are opening for IT & Business process sectors.
